The Washington DC Chapter of Gold Rush Cure Foundation is just starting. We seek to support the Pediatric Oncology patients in Washington D.C. and surrounding areas. Over time we hope to grow this chapter and align our patient support with the already existing advocacy program that operates in DC.

Pot of Gold Program

We are operating the Pot of Gold program through referrals through your hospital. For requests please download our form here and submit to your child life specialist or social worker to submit to Gold Rush Cure Foundation.

Volunteer with GRCF

We're looking for volunteers in and around Virginia, Maryland, and DC metro areas. We are also looking for volunteers who can drive to locations out of reach of the DC metrorail system.

Donations & Grants

The Washington DC chapter is part of Gold Rush Cure Foundation but accepts donations to be applied here in DC for children battling cancer. We accept donations individually, corporate donations, and grants.

Washington DC Leadership

Madeline Fontana - Chapter Leader

Madeline is the founder of the D.C. Chapter. She was introduced to the foundation through her mom, Grace Fontana, who is also a volunteer and classmate of Sandy Barker (Co-Founder, Gold Rush Cure Foundation). Inspired by her high school's mission to live a life of purpose by leading and serving others, Madeline started the D.C. Chapter in hopes to reach and support as many children battling cancer and their families as she can.
