A Year of Showing Up

As this year comes to a close, we’ve been looking back – not at our numbers on a spreadsheet, but at moments. Faces. Families. Kids in treatment. Siblings standing quietly nearby. Parents holding it together.

Since Gold Rush Cure began, we’ve delivered 1,650 Pot of Gold experiences.

Each one represents a family seen at a moment when they needed it most.

A sibling recognized for being strong and patient in a season that often revolves around hospital rooms. A child receiving personalized gifts while deep in treatment, or celebrating a milestone…sometimes even ringing the end-of-chemo bell. A family surprised by support from people they have never met, but who showed up anyway.

This Year, By the Numbers

With just a few days left in 2025, here’s what that support looked like this year:

• 207 Pot of Gold deliveries completed in 2025
• 47 additional requests already being worked on for early 2026

That means more families are still being cared for, right now, as we head into the new year.

Advocacy That Keeps Moving Forward

This year also included two advocacy trips to Washington, DC.

• One in partnership with other childhood cancer organizations during CureFest
• One through a national advocacy conference with the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2)

These trips matter. They help ensure childhood cancer remains part of the national conversation—and that families are not forgotten once the headlines fade.

Support That Doesn’t Always Make Headlines

Some of our most meaningful work doesn’t fit neatly into a program.

There are moments of quiet, personal support, often private, where families are facing the hardest circumstances. These are the times we step in without cameras, without posts, just to help however we can. Your generosity makes that possible too.

Growing With Intention

This year, we also launched new donor levels, giving supporters more meaningful ways to engage and be recognized while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the kids and families we serve.

All of this was done by an all-volunteer team – people who give their time, skills, and hearts because they believe these families deserve care, dignity, and joy in the middle of the fight.
