PIMCO’s Volunteer Day Brings Hope to Kids Fighting Cancer

In July 2025, the spirit of giving was alive and thriving at PIMCO’s Irvine headquarters during a heartfelt volunteer day with the Gold Rush Cure Foundation. With purpose and passion, PIMCO employees rolled up their sleeves to support children bravely battling cancer.
The event featured multiple stations—handwritten encouragement cards, personalized gift bag assembly, and more—all aimed at bringing comfort and smiles to young heroes in hospitals across the country. These aren’t just kind gestures; they’re real acts of impact that will reach children in the toughest fight of their lives.

Representing GRCF were team members Clarissa, Sandy, and Kim, who guided volunteers through the process of creating meaningful, personalized touches for each child. The compassion and energy from the PIMCO team was impressive – a team with organization and attention to detail.
PIMCO’s commitment to purpose-driven action was on full display, and their deep-rooted culture of volunteerism continues to inspire. Together, we’re proving that even small acts of kindness can make a direct impact in this very tough battle.
