We Need volunteers for Cocktails for A Cause on September 26th!

Gold Rush Cure Foundation is hosting its 4th Annual Cocktails for A Cause event in Fullerton, California!

We need volunteers to manage this event both before/after setup and volunteers during the event. If you're attending this event with a ticket you can volunteer before or after. Those who will not attend as a ticketed attendee can volunteer during the event itself. Please see shifts listed below.

Food will be provided for event volunteers.

covid-19 notice

We are mindful of our young heroes fighting cancer, many of whom are immunocompromised and going through difficult treatment. In early 2022, Gold Rush Cure announced that the ubiquitous COVID-19 restrictions would be lifted. However, volunteers working with the Pot of Gold program are asked to:

  • Ask the Pot of Gold parent/guardian about venue, comfort level and current restrictions that might exist for the patient.
  • Always apply hand sanitizer before and after delivery.
  • When asked by the family, wear a GRCF provided one-time use medical or new cloth mask during the entire duration of the delivery regardless of vaccination status.
  • Be symptom-free, feeling well.

GRCF always relies on the parents to make the ultimate decision on delivery location and preferences. Volunteers for GRCF will reach out prior to discuss deliveries and allow the parent(s)/guardians to make the best decision for their family.

No GRCF events are currently impacted by COVID-19 and will proceed as scheduled.
