I was introduced to GRCF through another cancer awareness organization, Love your Melon, when I was attending UC Irvine. I first volunteered with GRCF at the 2017 Annual Celebrating Childhood Cancer Heroes Gala and stayed in contact with the team. I became the Team Leader for the San Diego Chapter in 2020 and have completed many Pot of Gold Deliveries since then! I have been having a blast meeting all of our Heroes in San Diego and bringing smiles to their faces during difficult times. I am super honored to be a part of such a wonderful organization that truly cares about the work we do.
