Typical turnaround
When a child is in treatment, so much is out of their control. A Pot of Gold hands a piece of that back. It is centered on something they have genuinely been wishing for, not a generic care package, and it arrives as a celebration of their strength and perseverance.
Whenever possible, we deliver in person, so we can look each child in the eye and tell them directly how proud we are of their courage.
The program serves children and young adults from birth through age 20.
An active cancer diagnosis. Please note that blood-related disorders do not qualify.
There are no income requirements. This program is open to all qualifying families.
We deliver anywhere in the United States where we have a volunteer available.
There is no single right moment, but many families find after the diagnosis happens, once the initial whirlwind has settled. The early days of diagnosis can be overwhelming, but we will always do our best to accommodate families at any stage, including critical situations, and we time the delivery so your child is feeling strong enough to truly enjoy it.
Download the Pot of Gold application and fill it out with your child’s wish and details.
